The Lodge at Johns Road Grand Opening
Huntsville, Alabama – In conjunction with the City of Huntsville and Huntsville Chamber of Commerce, The Lodge at Johns Road held a ribbon cutting and grand opening in April. Nearly 200 people stopped by to celebrate the opening of Huntsville’s only conventional, active adult apartment community serving those 55 and better. Attendees enjoyed live music, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, door prizes, raffles, property tours and much more. Remarks of gratitude and vision were made by Huntsville mayor, Tommy Battle, as well as project developer, Terry Mount, of DSI Real Estate Partners.
The Lodge at Johns Road is an 83 unit community made up of one, two and three-bedroom fully functioning apartment homes. The building has secure access with each unit served by conditioned interior corridors leading to common area amenities. Amenities include indoor and outdoor communal gathering spaces, library and business center, fitness facility, theater, movie room, craft area and salon.
Also on hand for the event were representatives from construction lender, Bank Independent of Tuscumbia, general contractor, Doug Hollyhand Realty of Northport and project architect, Joel Peek of Montgomery.
